Who is Malala Yousafzai?

Childhood-

Malala Yousafzai was born on 12 July 1997
District Swat of Pakistan • He belongs to Sunni Muslim family. His brother’s name was Ziauddin Yousafzai who was also an educational activist, poet and owner of a school. His mother’s name was Toor Pekai Yousafzai. At that time she was a housewife. Now she is also learning English and becoming independent. Malala also has two younger brothers named Khushal and Atal.

Education-

Malala Yousafzai attended Khushhal Girls’ High School, founded by her father. Unfortunately, it was shut down by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. She then moved to England to continue her education at the University of Oxford.
He studied history, geography, mathematics and religious studies at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford.

Event-

On 9 October 2012, Malala and two of her friends were shot dead by the Taliban. He was shot in the head. He was shifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK due to his critical condition
After recovering, Yousafzai became a well-known activist for the right to education.

Honor and Achievement-

Malala Yousafzai has received national and international awards. Yousafzai is the youngest Nobel laureate in the world in 2014 when she was only 17 years old when she was given this award and she was awarded this award by Kailash Satyarthi who is also an Indian child rights activist.
In November 2012, Malala also received the Mother Teresa Award for Social Justice.
In September 2013, he was awarded the Ambassador of Conscience Award from Amnesty International.
In 2014, Yousafzai was awarded the World Children’s Prize, known as the Children’s Nobel Prize.
In 2014, Malala was honored with the Asia Game Changer Award.
Malala also received the Youngest Ever, United Nations Messenger of Peace award in 2017.
In 2017, he was honored by Honorary Canadian Citizen.

Organization and Books-

Malala Yousafzai started an organization called “Malala Fund”.
Malala also wrote a blog titled “I’m Afraid” for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
